Book Synopsis:
Killing husbands is a hobby for best friends Jill O'Connor and Elle Cooper. Everything changes when Jill marries Marcus Reed, husband number four. Eight years after they first met and three months into the marriage, Jill begins to wonder if maybe he’s the one man worth sparing.
While pondering this dilemma, she and Elle discover they aren't as clever as they think. Marcus knows about their past, always has. If that isn't bad enough, he's in league with Elle's new boyfriend, Rhys Xavier.
A dark comedy of errors, Love You to Death follows Jill and Elle as they search for true love and kill anything that gets in their way.
My Book Review:
I was asked to read/review this book for the author, and what a fab book it was.
In true Thelma and Louise style, Elle & Jill they came, they went and they conquered more than 3 times.
They learnt the value of giving up before they got bored, half the time, the signature on their marriage licenses wasn't even dry.
The bond that the two of them shared was more than just a friendship, they were kindred sisters from another Mother lol.
And what stories they could tell, they did well to not blab them out in all the times they were drunk, normally its how does that saying go ''loose, lips, sink, ships''
This is a very humorous story as the girls think they are very clever at keeping their murderous secret between themselves, but it was like NOT EVEN AL !!
All the plotting they did and all the schemes they made, they were always found out before anything could be achieved, HOW was the question, they could not fathom that out.
Marcus knew the whole god damn time, and so did Elle's man Rhys, how did they not figure this out, they were the two amigos, out to conquer the world.
But them the guys get into their hearts and they try to unplan what has been set in stone, is it too late, you will have to read this very funny story, to find out for yourselves.
4 stars from me
A little about the author:
Jackie Uhrmacher is a self-published author and avid reader who often doubts her sanity. She lives in a house full of books, a kindergartener who thinks he runs the place, a Boxer who knows she runs the place, and a ninja-like cat who waits in the shadows for his chance to reign supreme.
