Review For Jen Andrew's The Reason (Just Say Yes #1)

Book Synopsis:

Zoey James is in a funk. She has been through more in her twenty-three years than most people have experienced in their entire lives. After her ex-husband tries to take everything she’s worked so hard for, she makes one rule: Never date someone she works with.

Will Andy be the reason for Zoey to start living her life again, or will she continue on her downward spiral, until she finally hits rock bottom?

My Review:

I was given a copy of  The Reason to gauge my opinion of the storyline.

And I loved it, I thought it held a 4 star category, and was addicted to the relationship that transpires between Zoey and Andy, and wanted more from them.

Zoey's ups and downs in life only made her who she is as a person, an adult and a woman, and a lover, she would not be who she is today and if it wasn't for the hardships that she has gone through and endured.

I thought Jen did a terrific job not only on getting us to like the story, but also in letting us gain the characters feeling thorough out the storyline, and at times keeping us in limbo as to what was about to happen, keeping us in suspense so to speak.

I rated this a 4 star and purchased book 2 straight after finishing book one as I need more, I also cannot wait for book 3 Beautiful With You to come out, so I can update myself on what will happen in the future between Andy and Zoey and all her extended family.

A  Little About this author

I live in a small town in Northern California with my husband and all of our rescued pets. Like the main character, Zoey, in my book series, I come from a family of mechanics. My father is a mechanic, all of his brothers are/were mechanics at one time or another. I have never NOT been around hot rods! My husband is a mechanic as well, so we have a few of our own classic Chevys. I have always been an avid reader, and finally decided to try my hand at writing after I heard a song. Yes, a song! It may sound silly, but that one song stirred up all of these ideas and emotions, that I began writing the ideas down so I would maybe, someday, actually DO something with it. I started writing my "Just Say Yes" series in October of 2012 and have completed three books for Andy and Zoey, hopefully to be released soon!
