Review For Jen Andrew's Just Say Yes

Book Synopsis:

After an accident lands Zoey in the hospital, her life, once again, takes a turn in the wrong direction.

Andy starts acting differently and won’t talk to her about what is bothering him. He’s distant and broody, and the closer it gets to Zoey’s upcoming vacation, the more unsettling Andy’s behavior becomes.

Once Zoey leaves for vacation, life doesn’t get any easier for her, until she begins to volunteer at a local horse ranch. There she meets Josie, a former therapist, who spent her career helping orphans. While she is working at the ranch, unbeknownst to her, Josie is helping Zoey better herself and heal.

Zoey and Andy both realize they have issues from their troubling pasts that need to be dealt with during the month that Zoey is gone, and they agree to work on them. By the time she comes home, they’ve both succeeded at putting their previous tragedies behind them and are looking forward to their future together.

On what should be the happiest day of their lives, Andy is completely blindsided by disturbing news from his past. While Andy is away and trying desperately to find out if the information he’s received is true, Zoey suspects a life changing situation that could either ruin her and Andy, or make them completely whole.

Can their relationship survive Andy’s devastation, or will their lives fall apart forever? Will Zoey find it within her newfound strength to hold them together?

My Review:

Well this sure did not disappoint, I started book 2 only minutes after finishing book one and was hooked from start to finish.

Like book one I was wrapped up in the relationship between Andy & Zoey and so wanted more from them, and this did not disappoint.

The extended family started to come into the book also and there were some interesting characters there also, which could possibly extend the series to some of their characteristics also.

I cannot wait for book 3 Beautiful With you as I think that will be amazing, and this series is ticking all the boxes for me.

A Little About The Author:

I live in a small town in Northern California with my husband and all of our rescued pets. Like the main character, Zoey, in my book series, I come from a family of mechanics. My father is a mechanic, all of his brothers are/were mechanics at one time or another. I have never NOT been around hot rods! My husband is a mechanic as well, so we have a few of our own classic Chevys. I have always been an avid reader, and finally decided to try my hand at writing after I heard a song. Yes, a song! It may sound silly, but that one song stirred up all of these ideas and emotions, that I began writing the ideas down so I would maybe, someday, actually DO something with it. I started writing my "Just Say Yes" series in October of 2012 and have completed three books for Andy and Zoey, hopefully to be released soon!
