Book Synopsis:
More than Survival is the first novella in a post-apocalyptic erotic series…
Lucy was just seven years old when a deadly virus swept the country, killing most of the population. For the past eleven years she’s lived in seclusion with her Uncle Seamus, a prepper who was more than ready for the end of the world. Then Seamus disappears and Lucy finds herself a lone woman facing a dark world of lawlessness.
When Sawyer stumbles upon her cabin in the middle of a blizzard, he not only saves her life, but introduces her to feeling she’s never experienced before. With her uncle’s warnings about the dark desires of men fresh in her mind, Lucy knows she must tread lightly, but there’s something about Sawyer she can’t seem to shake. And the more she’s around him the more her body and mind awaken to the realization that there’s more to life than just survival…
My Review:
I was asked to offer my opinion on this book by the author, and I sure was not disappointed.
This took me back to the days when I was hooked on the old Readers Digest Story Bundles, discovering new authors and what all the different genre's were all about.
This was my absolute favourite kind of story.
Lucy was left through tragic circumstances with only her Uncle at 7.
For 11 years he mentored & taught her all he knew and all he could learn so that if ever she was to be left to survive on her own, she could.
He basically taught her what he could about womanhood, and encouraged her to read all about it, but it wasn't until she meet Sawyer that she realised that real life was so different than the written world, and seeing things in the flesh was sooooo different than in the books pictures.
Sawyer teaches her all about womanhood and what there is to love about it, she finds a true friend and lover in him
