Tell us a little
about yourself.
I am an Australian author who has written two zombie novels
before releasing Interview with a Master. Interview was my first BDSM erotic
novel.
How did you
become a writer, and did you always want to write?
I became a writer at the encouragement of my girlfriend.
Last year I decided to take 12 months off my regular work to try my luck
telling stories. In the past I have been an avid reader but never seriously
considered a career as a writer until quite recently.
How do you hope
your readers react to the stories you write?
I hope they enjoy them! I didn’t write Interview with a
Master to change the world or change people’s opinions. I simply hoped that I
was writing a novel that readers would enjoy and remember after they finish the
last page.
What responses
to your writing have affected you the most and why?
I have had an awful lot of comments and emails from readers
around the world. There are too many that stand out to isolate one in
particular. I am grateful for every comment and every email from readers who
have been moved or inspired by Jonah’s story.
Other than
writing great stories, what other goals do you have for your life?
To write more great stories. I am not interested in doing
anything else other than entertaining readers.
What do you like
to do in your spare time?
I have an interest in military history and I enjoy learning.
I am fascinated by World War One history and the history of the Napoleonic
Wars.
What can you
tell us about your latest works?
Interview with a Master is a story about a man who is
reflecting on his life through a series of interviews with a beautiful young
reporter. In recollecting key moments from his past we learn how he became a
Master, how he became immersed in the BDSM lifestyle, and some of the lessons
he has learned about loving women along the way.
What stories
can your fans expect from you in the days ahead?
The next book I am about to write is the sequel to Interview
with a Master. It is a novel that I never ever planned to write – but the
overwhelming interest from readers became impossible to ignore. Quite frankly,
this next book terrifies me. Two weeks before I am about to start writing I
still have no plot, and no idea where the story will take me.
What would you
like to say to your fans in New Zealand and others worldwide?
I have been overwhelmed by the response from readers to
Interview with a Master. I could never thank people enough for the enthusiastic
way they embraced the book and raved about it to all their friends. To everyone
who has read Interview I would simply say thank you so very much for your
support.

Book Quotes
“It wasn’t about physical domination for me.
It still isn’t. It’s about that emotional transfer of power: the command and
control. That’s what turns me on, Leticia. That’s what I find so addictive
about being a Master. I love the power, given to me by the submissive.”
“Anticipation is more potent than a whip and
more compelling than handcuffs. The ability to tease and arouse a woman is a
subtle skill few men ever bother to learn,” I said. “But learning the art of
anticipation can make a woman go weak at the knees with longing.”
“Every woman who is aroused
by submission is also aroused by an alpha male who can tame her. These women
aren’t looking for a husband in the bedroom who will make them feel safe and
loved. They already have that in their relationship. These women are looking
for a man who is strong enough to conquer them. That way the woman can still
feel vibrant and independent… but also feel comfortable submitting to their
lover. That’s the turn-on for women. They don’t want to submissives… they want
to feel like they can’t resist submitting.”
