Eden West ( Eden #2) - by Janelle Stalder

Book Synopsis:

New beginnings, new conflicts, and new adventures arise in the second installment of the Eden Series, Eden-West. Months after his initial journey to Eden, Aiden is learning to cope with his own transformation. His social status has changed, his friendship with his best friend Ethan is in jeopardy because of it, and worst of all, he has heard absolutely nothing from his new friends in Eden. What has become of the world he fell in love with? Are his friends safe? Is the war over? With no answers, and no hope for contact, Aiden decides to focus on his life in his world. Just as he makes this decision, he encounters a familiar bright light and thinks he knows exactly what it means. Except the light isn't at all what he expects and neither is the person behind it. When Aiden returns to Eden, it is to a whole new part of that special world, and a whole new set of adventures. Weeks after Aiden was returned to his own world, Elisa is sent to Nysa, the revered Southern city, to retrieve the one thing she'd rather avoid - Wolf. Captain Turk instructed her to get in and get out - but that is easier said than done. When she finds her missing friend, she also stumbles upon a great deal of trouble. This trouble goes by one name - Markus, the leader of the Sun People. Follow all your favourite characters as they ready themselves for battle and fight for a world threatened to be destroyed

My review:

This book has action packed suspense through out it, Aiden has been sent to the Riders this time around in the west and he, unbeknown to him is there under false pretences, their magic man the Sharman has a hidden agenda for him, and has brought him there for his own gain, and although through his magic powers Aiden is still protected from death it does not stop the journey he is on from being a very rocky one.

He meets Moose who is Wolves elder brother and Hawk & Sonny who are wolves parents they welcome him into their homes and their  hearts and he lives in Wolves room in the house and participates in all things from the Riders world that as a child Wold had done and Aiden can remember Wolf telling tales about his childhood.

He meets a beautiful purple eyed fairy called Lily who lives in the forest with the Forest people and he falls hard for her even though for him she is forbidden to him, but who can resist the forbidden fruit, she is just as crazy for him as she has never had anyone in all her fairy years that she has not been able to control with her mind magic, and fall into her magical web and this fascinates her no end, so Aiden become a novelty to her as well as being very special.

But turbulence is a foot as he meets Raine, wolves younger sister who proves to be a hindrance to Aiden as she has the womanly instincts to persuade him to lighten up on her and relent to let her do the things her family forbids, she starts to have Aiden wrapped around her fingers, but can Aiden become strong enough to realise what is right and wrong.

War is a foot and after a nasty turn of events things happen to Aiden of a magical nature, that are way out of his control, but with the help of Moose and Lily they get things back on track and head for the High Kings castle in Eden, where he finds the castle in celebration mode as Elisa has agreed to wed Marcus ,the ruler of the south, he gets to Elisa room just in time to hear Wolf trying to persuade her not to wed Marcus, as not only does he secretly love her with all his heart, he believes Marcus wants her for her unnatural talents that she has been brought up with, and she will end up being a great alloy to the south people with her ability to hold her own and fight like a man would and her archery skills being non other as well he believes she is wanted not only for her beauty, but that Marcus will try and turn her against them, but has Aiden got there in time to help convince Elisa or will she leave Eden for the south, we will have to wait for book 3 Eden South.

I was given this book for an honest review from the author, and I am so in love with the storyline and the characters that I cannot put it down, well done Janelle another 4 stars from me
