Featured Interview With Wendy Jay - Author Of Files Of A Sex Therapist

We are lucky enought to have Author Wendy Jay here with us today,

Hi Wendy

Tell us a little about yourself.

Well, I was raised in a small town in northern New Hampshire.  I come from a small family with one brother and two sisters.  I lived in my home town up until June 2014.  Right now I’m in North Carolina visiting.

How did you become a writer, and did you always want to write

I’ve loved to read and write since I was a young child.  I wrote a lot of poetry and short essays through high school.  When the economy dipped and I lost employment, I went back to my love of writing...with much encouragement from friends.

How do you hope your readers react to the stories you write?

As any author, I hope they like them!  I hope readers connect with my characters and see a bit of my personality in them.  I’ve come to love the characters like family.  I’m sure authors and readers alike feel the same way.

What responses to your writing have affected you the most and why?

I’ve gotten so much encouragement from readers to continue writing, it’s truly humbling!  Every time a read a review I smile and I’m very thankful.  My latest series, Files of a Sex Therapist, has a distinct BDSM feel.  When people in that lifestyle write to me and tell me how realistic my books are, that is a compliment not to be compared.

Other than writing great stories, what other goals do you have for your life?

I’m currently working on publishing a poetry book with a dear friend John Dickson and we are creating a screen play also.  Plans other than writing stories?  Honestly, I’m not sure.  It’s a dream come true to be an author, nothing else can compare to that right now.

What do you like to do in your spare time

I like to talk...LOL   Many of my friends can attest to that!  I like movies, music, dancing, reading.  Getting together with friends just to hang out.  I’m not a complicated person.  I like the simple things in life.

What can you tell us about your latest works?

I just published book 3 in my Files Series...Luca Zavatonni.  RJ Ritchie co-wrote it with me.  It’s available in all formats now.  It’s a great read and getting good reviews.

What stories can your fans expect from you in the days ahead?

My Files Series, book 4 is in the works now.  RJ Ritchie will co-write this one with me too.  I have plans for book 3 in my Treasured Series.   More screen plays, poetry and a new stand alone book.  Anything to keep me tied to the keyboard!

What would you like to say to your fans in New Zealand and others worldwide?

Thank you so much for reading my books and believing in me.  I’m so honoured to write for you and enjoy hearing from you!

Do you have any parting words?

Thank you for interviewing me!  I’d like to encourage my readers to contact me on Facebook/Google+ or anywhere you see me!  I love hearing from you!
