Review For ''The Coolest Way to Kill Yourself'' by Nicholas Tanek

Book Synopsis:
Okay. So no one actually kills themselves in this book.

The Coolest Way to Kill Yourself pulls you into the early 90's New York City rave scene, in all its
chaotic, psychedelic glory.

The narrator grabs you by your wrist and drags you behind two teenage
lovers from New Jersey as they tumble through a whirlwind of reckless hedonism that eventually
spirals into a dark, devastating world of drug addiction and heartbreak.

As a teenager, Lynn cried, "No one is ever going to write something for me." Nearly two decades later,
in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Nicholas did just that. The gesture came too late for our unlikely
heroine, but his heart was in the right place. A broken heart... but a true love. Reunited after years
apart, Lynn and Nicholas embraced their love and sexuality, and embraced each other, despite
troubled pasts, despite illness, despite all of their imperfections and mistakes.

They shared the kind of honest and shameless connection that few have had the honor of knowing, and most would never understand.

"We're not hurting anyone. We're just living life without caring what anyone thinks about us."

"It's the coolest way to kill ourselves," Lynn said.

So turn the page, and pull the trigger

My Review:

Wow

This will contain spoilers,

Lets start by saying I am not normally a lover of this genre, it has to of a romantic nature before I even will pick up a book to read, and as this was more like an autobiography it was outside my comfort zone bug time.

But upon Nicholas making me promise to read/review this book for him, I have honoured my word, plus my friend Isa has been on at me to read this as well, so there guys I've done it and loved it.

This was like no other books, I have ever before read, it will stay in my mind I think for an eternity.

The life that Nick & Lynne (pseudonyms of course) went through and lived day by day to become who they were is absolutely phenomenal and totally out of this world for 99% of people.

With everything they shared with each other to make them who they were individually its was a total honest relationship with absolutely no holes barred, they shared every intimate thought, every devious thought, they actually almost could mind read each other.

The BDSM, The complete Obsession with Sex & Domination, The Stealing, The Prostitution, The Degradation,  The Drug use the constant relationship abuse for outside parties is like no other, you will ever experience,  this relationship and their past relationships can not be compared to any relationship I have known EVER before.
I am amazed at how accurate Nicholas could be considering 95% of his recall must of been when he was totally off this planet.

I will close with the this fact.

The Coolest Way To Kill Yourself, is a book that everyone should read, it is total honesty, from an explicit nature, no fantasy, no imaginary story line, no fiction this is total and pure FACT, names are changed, but the recollections are out of this world.

A Definite 5 stars from me for this
