Interview
Tell us a little about
yourself.
Outside of the information
on my bio... lets see... I prefer beaches over deserts and yet I live where the
temperature exceeds 95 for a good 4 months out of the year and the ocean is 50
miles away. Which translates into 1.5 hours in California traffic. I firmly
believe that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. I grew up
dirt-poor, made proper choices in my life, and now have an amazing career with
money to spare. I've spent the last 20 years of my life raising kids...now it's
my turn.
How did you become a
writer, and did you always want to write?
I started serious writing
when I was injured in my day job as a ER RN. My first published book was in
2009 and I'd been writing for a little over a year at that point. I've always
been creative, but didn't realize my desire to write until the last decade.
How do you hope your
readers react to the stories you write?
I hope they have a smile on
their face at the end of every book. I strive to have my readers turning pages
late into the night and give them stories that will stick with them for many
years.
What responses to your
writing have affected you the most and why?
Hearing my readers enjoy my
books never gets old. If I pull an emotion out of a reader...any emotion, and
they tell me about it, I feel I've done my job.
Other than writing great
stories, what other goals do you have for your life?
I have a large bucket list.
I want to travel and have found myself on an airplane many times in the last
few years. A happy, healthy family is my main priority, but as a retired RN I
know I can't wave a wand and make everyone around me healthy. So I guess my
goal is to live life to the fullest while I have my health.
What do you like to do in
your spare time?
Spare time? What the heck
is that?
What can you tell us about
your latest works?
I'm continuing my bride
series through all seven days of the week. I'm currently working on Seduced by
Sunday, Meg's story. From there I will have my Thursday bride. I have an idea
for another Not Quite book...but need to wrap up a time travel book first.
From there I have a couple
of other plots swimming in my head, and a couple of paranormal stories that
need to find a polished edit before I release them.
What stories can your fans
expect from you in the days ahead?
Not Quite Forever will be
released in November 04 of this year, Seduced by Sunday should be a spring
release in 2015, the last book in the Weekday Brides series (title to be
determined) will come in late 2015, and Cian's story (book six in the
MacCoinnich Time Travel series) sometime in 2015.
What would you like to say
to your fans in New Zealand and others worldwide?
Thank you so much for
reading, reviewing, and enjoying my books. I look forward to visiting your neck
of the woods at some point in the not too distant future.
Do you have any parting
words?
Read what makes you happy… what makes
you think… what you like. And toss the rest. There are too many good books out
there to read crappy ones.

Thank you for having me on your blog today.
