Scarred (Emotions) by Mrs Smut

Book Synopsis:

She thought she had everything but want she really wanted she couldn't have. What she wished for and what she got were two different things. Could she live without him? Did she want to? Was this really a fantasy?

Could he spend the rest of his life with her? Was he prepared to give up everything for her?

Ultimately, whose decision is it?

My Review:

I was given the opportunity to read this book direct from the author

A mystery internet relationship develops over time via email and text, this is then taken to the next level when fantasy becomes reality when the two parties decide to make their sexual fantasy become real.

A secret meeting place is arranged, and an encounter is organised, does it go to plan...............

He is married and she knows that a Sexual encounter with him will be more emotional to her than just a one night stand, but she also knows that she cannot have him.

Its the tale of the forbidden fruit, you always want what you can't have.

She feels it is totally worth the obstacles she may face by carrying out her total fantasy.

This story is written with share emotion and desire, it is a total erotic fantasy relay.

I don't personally condone infidelity but if you can put that aside you will enjoy Scarred.

A total cliffhanger ending makes us all anxiously await book two, so we can find out the outcome of this escapade.

4 Stars From me

A little about the author:

I am Mrs. S...
I am a 30 year old mom of two and pornstar of a wife to one lucky dude and lucky for me I have a filthy sense of humor. I'm blunt and some say I don't know when to shut up! Lets call it verbal diarrhea!
I love telling a story so that's why I started my blog on the 4th October 2012. My blog started out as a place to have my say.
Vent if you will, However it was mainly a platform to review books I've read.
Things took a turn when I started writing posts from the heart.
This was when SCARRED was conceived.
I enjoy interacting with fellow authors and praise them for their awesome writing.
I write from my heart and often cry my guts out while doing so. I want my reader to see what I see and feel what I feel.

Strength ( Mark of Nexus # 1) by Carrie Butler

Book Synopsis:

When college student Rena Collins finds herself nose-to-chest with the campus outcast, her rumor-laced notions are shattered. Handsome, considerate, and seemingly sane, Wallace Blake doesn't look like he spends his nights alone, screaming and banging on the walls of his dorm room. Hell, he doesn't look like he spends his nights alone, period.

Too curious for her own good, Rena vows to uncover the truth behind Wallace’s madman reputation--and how two seconds of contact had left her with bruises. Of course, there are a few setbacks along the way: guilt, admiration, feelings of the warm and fuzzy variety…

Not to mention the unwanted attention of Wallace's powerful, supernaturally-gifted family.

They’re a bloodline divided by opposing ideals, two soon-to-be warring factions that live in secret among us. When Rena ends up caught in their crossfire, Wallace has no choice but to save her by using his powers. Now they’re really in trouble. With war on the horizon and Rena’s life in the balance, he needs to put some distance between them. But Rena won’t let go. If fighting is what it takes to prove her own strength and keep Wallace in her life, then that’s what she'll do--even if it means risking a whole lot more than her heart.

Rock Bottom ( Bullet #2 ) by Jade C Jamison

Enter Jenna McCormick, a feisty drug and alcohol counsellor, a woman with her own share of troubles. She finds Ethan intriguing but keeps him at a distance while trying to help him face life without crutches. She feels a spark but denies it, knowing that a relationship with unstable Ethan could be dangerous for both of them.

Ethan knows what he wants, though, and isn't used to being told no. Jenna isn't willing to risk Ethan losing his tenuous grip on sobriety, however, and is prepared to deny her deeper feelings to help Ethan climb out of his hole, but he learns how to let go of his pain when he finds that someone is prepared to walk with him through the shadows. Can he convince Jenna that they should take a chance on love or will they forever deny their feelings in an effort to keep Ethan on the straight and narrow?

The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks

Book Synopsis:

Ira Levinson is in trouble. At ninety-one years old, in poor health and alone in the world, he finds himself stranded on an isolated embankment after a car crash. Suffering multiple injuries, he struggles to retain consciousness until a blurry image materializes and comes into focus beside him: his beloved wife Ruth, who passed away nine years ago. Urging him to hang on, she forces him to remain alert by recounting the stories of their lifetime together – how they met, the precious paintings they collected together, the dark days of WWII and its effect on them and their families. Ira knows that Ruth can’t possibly be in the car with him, but he clings to her words and his memories, reliving the sorrows and everyday joys that defined their marriage.

A few miles away, at a local rodeo, a Wake Forest College senior’s life is about to change. Recovering from a recent break-up, Sophia Danko meets a young cowboy named Luke, who bears little resemblance to the privileged frat boys she has encountered at school. Through Luke, Sophia is introduced to a world in which the stakes of survival and success, ruin and reward -- even life and death – loom large in everyday life. As she and Luke fall in love, Sophia finds herself imagining a future far removed from her plans -- a future that Luke has the power to rewrite . . . if the secret he’s keeping doesn't destroy it first.

Ira and Ruth. Sophia and Luke. Two couples who have little in common, and who are separated by years and experience. Yet their lives will converge with unexpected poignancy, reminding us all that even the most difficult decisions can yield extraordinary journeys: beyond despair, beyond death, to the farthest reaches of the human heart.

Unattainable ( Undeniable # 3) by Madeline Sheehan

Book Synopsis:

Warning: This is not a virtuous and tender love story. It’s chaotic, ruthless, and tragic. This story takes love and kills its innocence, steals away the pure moments, and crushes the hearts of the broken. A story born in childhood, tying one girl to one boy, leads to a destructive path—that hurts more than it doesn’t, that shatters more than it heals—testing the love that binds the two through a lifetime.

Tegen Matthews is the daughter of Dorothy Kelley, a club whore in the Hell’s Horsemen. A plain little girl, Tegen falls into the gritty world of the motorcycle club. When she meets a sweet, caring boy, she embraces the warmth and affection he shows her. Cage West is the son of the president of the Hell’s Horsemen. Tall and blond with deep brown eyes, as he grows up Cage realizes the power of his dimpled smile and smooth drawl. With one chance encounter, Tegen becomes forever tied to Cage. Following is a wayward journey that is filled with regrets, mistakes, and heartache, pulling at the threads that hold them together. Cage and Tegen fight hard but love harder, and in the end, what matters is where the journey takes one girl and one boy, who have been twined with one another since the beginning.

This is Tegen and Cage’s story.

Love doesn't erase a broken heart, and it sure doesn't change people. But no matter how old, how flimsy, how frayed the rope of love is, it keeps you tethered to the people you love.
